Parker 51 in Teal. 1955.

Regular price £95.00

The Parker 51 Aerometric filler was introduced in 1948, this fine example, in Teal, was made, in England in 1955.

The pen has been fully serviced and tested.  It has a first class finish and an imprint showing that the pen was made in 1955.

The lustralloy cap is also in excellent condition, it has no dings or other blemishes and a most attractive finish.  The chrome plated 'arrow' clip carries a pearl coloured cap stud.

The original 'pli-glass' ink sac is in good condition and shows no staining.  This is unusual in a pen of this age, it is a sign of little use and careful storing.

The 14Ct. Gold nib has a fine point, it writes with a firm, fine line, ideally suited to someone with small handwriting or detailed work.

The hard plastic presentation box is from a later pen but it is in excellent, clean, and solid condition.

The Parker 51 is often referred to as the best pen that Parker ever made, it is certainly the most successful pen by any manufacturer and carries a great deal of prestige.
